Joseph Holzmann, Principal
The 2024-25 school year marks Mr. Holzmann's first at Danforth Junior High School. Mr Holzmann has 30 years of experience in education, including the last 22 in campus leadership roles. He has worked as a middle school administrator and teacher, and most recently was assistant principal at Alamo Heights High School (2019-2024). He received his Bachelor's of Science in Physical Education from the University of Incarnate Word and a Masters in Educational Leadership from University of Texas - San Antonio. He is currently working on a Doctor of Education degree at Abilene Christian University.
Mr. Holzmann, and his wife Tracy, who is also a lifelong educator, have four adult children.
Katy Huebner, Assistant Principal
Katy Huebner is in her third school year as Danforth Junior HIgh School Assistant Principal in 2024-25. Mrs. Huebner has been at Danforth for 26 years and prior to becoming Assistant Principal was a 6th grade English teacher and head of the English Department at the school. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1998 with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Sports Science. She received her Masters in Educational Leadership degree from Texas State in 2016. Her and her husband, Charles Huebner, have two boys, Kelbey and Kolden.
